Will a de-indexed Object Type get deleted?

I have a large Object Type that’s temporarily out of use. I’d like to de-index it to save on indexed storage, however, I don’t want to lose all the metadata associated with the Object Type. (It’s also in OSv1.) I don’t care about edits.

If I de-index my Object Type, will Foundry automatically delete the Object Type definition too?

At the moment, object types do not get automatically deleted, regardless of indexation status.
However, for clarity, deindexed object types will show up in Ontology Cleanup and you may be recommended to delete them over there.
