Hello there,
I am looking for a way to know that a workshop has entered a dark mode. This would allow me to apply specific formatting for other embedded applications.
Best,
Aline

There is currently no way to have a variable back the current Workshop theme, or otherwise capture the Workshop theme in a variable. We’ve marked down a note of this request in our internal ticket tracking this feature request.
Other Foundry applications that can be embedded as a Workshop widget should respect the current theme, so feel free to point out if any embeds do not respect this. However, this would not apply for iframe embeds.
Thanks for the signal,
Evan
That would be awesome to have.
We are embedding slate through an iframe, and yes, it is not capturing the change of the theme from workshop.
I guess in the meantime, we can use our own variable with the event capture on the toggle theme button identify the change.
Thanks,
Aline
